A tropical fruit bubble tea kit for four

Exotic Escapades is one of our best sellers, and it’s the kit we usually suggest to anyone making bubble tea at home for the first time. You get four fruit tea flavours (mango, passion fruit, peach and lychee), so every drink in the box tastes different.

Each flavour sits in its own portion pot, measured for one drink. Brew a jasmine green tea bag, let it cool, then stir a pot into a glass of ice. For texture there’s green apple and strawberry popping boba, coconut and grape jelly, and 100g of tapioca pearls that you cook on the hob.

Our favourite combination is lychee tea with coconut jelly. Mango tea with strawberry boba comes a close second.

The kit is vegan and gluten free. It arrives boxed with four bamboo straws and two recipe cards, so it’s ready to give as a present.

How to make it

  1. Cook the tapioca pearls in boiling water as shown on the recipe card, then rinse in cold water.
  2. Brew one tea bag per drink and let it cool.
  3. Add a portion of fruit tea flavour to a cup filled with ice cubes.
  4. Spoon in your boba or jelly topping, pour over the tea, stir with a bamboo straw and enjoy!
